Terms & Conditions – In store & *Web Orders

All goods remain the property of Selecta Tyre Ltd until payment is received in full.

*The website is only intended for booking of car, van and 4 x 4 vehicle tyres and accompanying tyre fitting services. It is intended for use by individual retail customers only and should not be used by business or account customers.

For T & C purpose Product means all products and parts sold by us, including all products and parts which are supplied as part of any service we perform and Service shall mean any services or repairs which we carry out including Product fitting, inspections, checks and servicing.

*Selecta Tyre Ltd reserves the right to change the content of this website, including the website conditions at any time, without notice, by posting such changes on the website. It is your responsibility to familiarise yourself with the website conditions regularly to keep up to date with amends. Your continued use of this website following the posting of such changes will constitute your acceptance of amended website conditions. If you do not agree to these Website terms, you must not order any Product or services from us via this website.

*You must only order Product and services from us on the following terms:

(i) you are over 18 years of age

(ii) you are resident in the UK

(iii) you are ordering Product for fitting in the UK

Selecta Tyre Ltd reserves the right, in our sole discretion, to refuse to accept your order.

The Price Promise relates to substantiated quotes on a like-for like basis where Product is available to Selecta Tyre Ltd and to competitors in the UK (UK companies only). The quote must be current, valid and substantiated in writing, if requested, in order for Selecta Tyre to ‘beat’ the price. Prices will be substantiated at time of purchase only and the Price Promise is only valid at the time of purchase. Selecta Tyre Ltd reserves the right to withdraw the Price Promise without notice.

*Products are subject to availability and the presence of a Product on the website does not guarantee that such product will be available to order.

*Selecta Tyre Ltd has made every reasonable effort to show all products, descriptions and illustrations on the website as accurately as possible. These are displayed mainly for guidance and illustration purposes only and actual products may vary. Accordingly any typographical, clerical or other omission in any information, price list, website content, wording, pictures confirmation, invoice or other document issued by the Company shall be subject to correction at any time without any liability to the Company.

*In the event that, after we accept your order, we find out that the product ordered is unavailable or that there was an error in pricing, incorrect description or incorrect information on our website in respect of the product ordered, we reserve the right not to supply the product ordered and offer  alternative .

*The price for the products that you order will be the price quoted on the website at the date the website order is received by Selecta Tyre Ltd. Prices are subject to change at any time at the sole discretion of the Company upon the posting of such prices on the website. All prices shown on the website are in Pounds sterling and are inclusive of VAT at the current rate.

*Vouchers from the voucher page of the Selecta Tyre Ltd website may not be used against products and services ordered using the website  and may only be used where products and services are ordered and paid for at the Selecta Tyre Ltd Branch. Vouchers may not be used in conjunction with any other offer, including the Selecta Tyre Ltd ‘Price Promise’ and/or web prices.

*The following services at time of fitting will be included in Web orders - disposal of tyre casing(s), new standard rubber TL valve(s), wheel balancing. Wheel alignment/tracking and other service items are chargeable at time of fitting where adjustments are required.

Having re-fitted wheels, which have been hand-torqued (tightened) to Manufacturer’s Newton/Metres settings, Selecta Tyre Ltd advises that all customers return to the Fitting Branch within the 50 miles or 50 minutes driving time to ensure that wheel nuts/bolts are re-checked/re-tightened. Customers are to sign on their invoice to verify that they have read and agreed to this safety message.

It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure that any tyres ordered are suitable for the customer’s vehicle and intended use. Selecta Tyre Ltd cannot be considered liable for any recommendation made by any third party, or external source of information.

*The customer’s offer to order goods will not be deemed accepted unless and until the order confirmation has been issued.

*In the event that Selecta Tyre Ltd is unable to fulfil the order, it will be entitled to cancel the order. in the unlikely event of the occuring, the customer will be informed at the earliest opportunaty .

*All products ordered  on this website must be fitted at a Selecta Tyre Ltd Fitting Centre. Goods will be delivered to the Selecta Tyre Ltd fitting station selected by the customer.

*The order confirmation sets out the basis upon which Selecta Tyre Ltd agrees to accept an order. It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure that the order confirmation corresponds with the customers own expectations. Any discrepancy should be reported immediately to Selecta Tyre Ltd.

Selecta Tyre Ltd shall not be considered liable in respect of any defect arising from fair wear and tear, wilful damage, negligence or abnormal working conditions (including incorrect track use).

The parties agree that, in the unlikely event of any defect arising in the tyres or other products supplied, the products will be submitted for adjudication by the manufacturer as to the cause of failure before any refund, replacement or credit is issued and their decision will be final.

*In all other circumstances, cancellation will only be accepted at the discretion of Selecta Tyre Ltd, and subject to payment of all reasonably resulting costs and/or losses.

*Fitting dates are provided for guidance only, and cannot be guaranteed. Selecta Tyre Ltd cannot be held liable for any delay in fitting. Customers are advised to check directly with the fitting centre.

Selecta Tyre Ltd collects information such as name, address, telephone number or e-mail address only when it is voluntarily submitted to us. We may use the information to process orders, improve our level of service, to improve the content of our website, to respond to your requests and for our own internal purposes. Other purposes for which we may use your information may be disclosed to you when you provide your information. We may also provide you with helpful information, product news and updates, notify you of new products and services and seek your views on our products and services.

Please note that by submitting personally identifiable information, you are consenting to such information being processed for the above listed purposes. For the above purposes, you agree that Selecta Tyre Ltd may use and store any such information provided by you.

Tyre Hotel - In circumstances whereby Selecta Tyre Ltd agrees to store tyres for the customer, 4  days working notice is required before re-fitting. Selecta Tyre Ltd reserves the right to dispose of any customer’s tyres that have not been collected or re-fitted after 8 months. Customers will be contacted to arrange a re-fitting date. Selecta Tyre Ltd accepts no liability for the storage of customers’ tyres. Customers’ tyres are stored at the customer’s own risk.

A charge will be made for the refitting of each tyre , new tubless valve or tpms valve/service kit


Free Puncture Repair Offer

When the above is offer is redeemed by the customer, the repair using a plug patch is free. However, to qualify for the offer, a new tubeless valve tpms valve/service kit  is to be fitted and the wheel is to rebalanced, these service items are chargeable .If the tyre is unrepairable there is no cash alternative to the offer and a replacement will need to be purchased.

Tyre Labelling – All tyre information printed on your invoice only applies to tyres manufactured after 1-7-2012.

Battery guarantee refers to manufacturing defects only. Vehicle defects (eg electrical faults etc) will invalidate your guarantee. If a battery fails within the warranty period you may be required to purchase a replacement battery whilst checks are undertaken (checks normally completed within 3 working days).

*T & C web orders 

Complaints – At Selecta Tyre Ltd, we pride ourselves on our customer Service and any complaints are treated with the utmost importance.

If for any reason we fall short of the high standards we set ourselves and you wish to speak to someone about it, in the first instance all complaints are to be directed to the branch concerned. If the complaint remains unresolved, complaints will be accepted by email to cs@selectatyre.co.uk or in writing to Customer Services, Selecta Tyre Ltd, The Front, Fairfield, Buxton. Derbyshire. SK17 7EQ

Complaints - Where we cannot resolve any complaints using our own complaints procedure effective from 19th Oct 2016, as a Which? Trusted trader we use Dispute Resolution Ombudsman for dispute resolution. In the unlikely event of a complaint arising and you wish to refer the complaint to them please contact 0333 241 3209 or via their website.


This contract is governed by the prevailing law in England & Wales. Selecta Tyre Ltd has the right to revise and amend the Terms & Conditions from time to time. Selecta Tyre Ltd is not responsible for the content of external websites.
